WRAPPING UP WITH H&M

Coat | H&M
Scarf | H&M
Bag | H&M
  Jeans | Topshop
Boots | Deena & Ozzy at Urban Outfitters
Watch | Casio
Hat | Primark

I've been working this trusty combo in an attempt to stay toasty and beat the arctic air, it's been so so cold here.  Winter wardrobe-wise, wooly wrap have been my current go-to. Most of mine come courtesy of H&M, This coat was under £35 - it's light, layer friendly and I love it. As for the scarf, I snapped this up way back in June after trying it on in the sweltering heat,  I've finally been able to lug it out of my drawers and whack it on,  it's so snug and HUGE, it doubles up as a both throw and a picnic blanket - a worthy investment in my eyes.

NAILS: ESSIE VS CHANEL

Essie Midnight Cami | Superdrug £7.99
Chanel Blue Satin | Boots £17.50

Listen up lacquer lovers, I think I may have found the ultimate, fool-proof dupe for Chanel's Blue Satin number. Essie's Midnight Cami polish is an identical twilight navy with that gorgeous, glossy sheen finish, and dare I say it, I think the formula might actually be better. It stays put for longer, doesn't chip as easily and at over £9.50 cheaper it's a bargain-busting beauty.

Have you tried Blue Satin or/and Midnight Cami? Which do you prefer?

NEW IN: OFFICE BOOTS

Black Leather Boots | Office

Meet my new loves,  I snapped up this glorious pair at Office. I'd been lusting over a pair of Vegabonds for ages and waiting in vain for the River Island super dupes to come back in stock, alas they did not appear and I was left with cold toes. Then I strolled into Office and clapped eyes on these bad boys, they're almost identical to the Vegabonds I was after (and £20 cheaper at that) and the leather is more of a muted, charcoal black - which I actually prefer. After numerous treks, daytime adventures and running for the bus, I can confirm that these feel like a pair of very comfortable, short wellingtons? Sort of clumpy but easy and cosy. Definitely my new A/W staple shoe.

What is your ultimate winter boot?

WEARING: ANOTHER KIMONO

 Kimono | Topshop
Cami | Topshop
Joni Jeans | Topshop
Boots | Deena & Ozzy at Urban Outfitters
Watch | River Island (Similar here)
Hat | Primark

This floral newbie was an early Christmas gift from my lovely sister and I absolutely adore it! I'm not usually one for tassels but when I spotted this floating in Topshop I just had to have it, it's barely left my back since. The silky texture is super light and I'm in love with the beautiful oriental print and  Stevie Nicks vibe it has going on.  I chose the petite version as I preferred the smaller fit, but there's a tall offering available too. It's the perfect cover-up to throw over a simple lazy look and I've just been chucking it over jeans & camis.  I can't wait for the sun to come out again, I can see this being a staple piece for festival sunshine garb. Also, apologies for my chunky moon face and the awkward  expression.

LATHERING: L'OREAL EVER RICHE HAIRCARE

This triumphant trio has received a fair bit of blog lovin' lately, so when I spotted a glorious 3 for £12 sign in the boots hair care aisle, I made a speedy b-line for L'Oreal.

Ever Riche Shampoo & Conditioner - Nourishing & Flowing £5.99 each | Boots
This duo is designed to care for dry, fine hair, and that it certainly does. The formula is enriched with botanical oils without any sulphate nasties - which is always a plus. The squeezy packaging makes for  super easy application and a little goes a long way. The lather feels luxurious and the scent is gorgeous, expect fresh tones of vanilla and coconut. In terms of results, these got on happily with my dry, unruly, colour treated hair. My locks didn't feel coated or weighed down, but much softer and easier to manage, perhaps even a little glossier? (in the right light)

After using the Ever Riche' shampoo & conditioner, I usually whack this stuff on. The Oil Preciux is essentially a leave-in conditioner spray, as well as my tangle teezer's new BFF. It's designed to nourish over processed hair to provide a weightless, shiny feel.  It diffuses a fine mist with a spray applicator and I comb it through my soggy tresses with my trusty teezer, is makes for a darn' good detangling spray and makes post-shower hair care a 20 second affair. It has an oriental scent of jasmine - which is just lovely. After use, my locks are left soft, shiny and ready to style.

If you fancy treating your tresses to something new, I'd really recommend Ever Riche's offerings.

WEARING: BRETON STRIPES & TWEED

Joni Jeans | Topshop
Petite Breton Tee | Topshop
Jacket | H&M
Bag | H&M
Shoes | Topshop (Similar here)
Bag | H&M
Watch | Casio
Bracelet | H&M
Hat | Primark

All hail the Breton stripe tee, oh how I love thee - I actually snapped this one up over Summer, it was the last one lurking in the tiny welsh Topshop and it was a  petite size 4 - which turned out to be a happy accidental crop instead. Today's look was a simple one and I like to think a tad french (maybe)
I recently picked up this little wool-blend jacket at H&M too for just under £35 which is actually rather warm, I wish I could say the same for my T-bar geek shoes, I need to embrace frilly socks or store them away for the  warmer months... before my toes turn blue for good.
